Netflix Kicks Off the Holiday Season With New Titles, Fun In-Person Activations and More!
Spreading delight for fans of all ages this season, Wonder is Everywhere on Netflix with festive fan favorites as well as new movies and TV shows coming to Netflix!
Sit around the fire and wrap up the year with festive collections to keep you entertained. Like Holiday Favorites featuring the stories you go back to year after year, including Christmas Chronicles, Klaus, or Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. Or Sweets & Treats, with stories to satisfy your sweet tooth from The Great British Baking Show: Holidays and Sugar Rush. And then there’s Wrapped in Romance, featuring stories of love and romance during the season.

Here’s how to spend the Holiday Season with Netflix:
Holiday House at Netflix at The Grove: This December, the second floor of Netflix at The Grove in Los Angeles will be transformed into an immersive Holiday House. Offering a free, fun, Instagrammable experience for the whole family, visitors will be able to put themselves inside scenes from their favorite and most-anticipated movies and series.
Holiday House is open to the public starting December 7 during normal business hours at The Grove, with select additional hours during our preview opening December 1-4.
Highlights include:
- A “Wonder is Everywhere” holiday vignette — perfect for capturing your family holiday card!
- Go inside Enola Holmes’ detective agency.
- Walk through Matilda’s musical library on wheels.
- Can’t make it to Paris? Take a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower as part of our Emily in Paris Parisian cafe.
- Make your holiday wish at The School for Good & Evil Wishing Tree.
- Travel across the seas in the Slumberland time-traveling bed!
- Get close up with Pinocchio in this behind-the-scenes look at the making of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio through maquette displays.

And for the ultimate Netflix fan, the first floor of Netflix at The Grove is open to provide an unforgettable, immersive shopping experience. Offering top-selling and exclusive products from Netflix’s best-known films and shows and great seasonal gifting items. The store is open to the public during The Grove’s normal business hours until January 6, 2023.
Netflix Canada’s Holiday House: Kicking off December 1, fans can enter a world of wonder at Campbell House in Toronto as it’s transformed into Holiday House Toronto. Fans of all ages are invited to join the fun with interactive Instagrammable moments, crafts for kids and grown-ups alike, hot chocolate, sweet treats and immersive decor that’s sure to spark your festive spirit!
Glass Onion Experience: If you want to add mystery to your holiday, be sure to check out the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Experience. Imagine the world’s greatest escape room…. themed to the world’s greatest mystery franchise. The Glass Onion Experience invites you to experience a little bit of paradise in Los Angeles by completing a series of challenges to test your powers of deductive reasoning. You and your friends can compete to see if you have what it takes to be the next Benoit Blanc.
Matilda Library Truck: Kicking off the Holiday Season on December , Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical is bringing the mobile Library Truck to life. Starring Academy Award winner Emma Thompson and newcomer Alisha Weir as Matilda, the nostalgic movie-musical is traveling across the country to give fans in New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco and Los Angeles a chance to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, photo opps, a bookmark and a copy of a Matilda book! Netflix will release the film across the world [excluding the UK & Ireland] on December 25, 2022.
Wonder is Everywhere Pop-Up Photo Opps: Experience a little bit of the Holiday House magic with the “Wonder is Everywhere” festive photo opp that will pop-up in 12 cities across the U.S. this December. The experience is free and perfect for capturing your family holiday card.
Family Movie Screenings: On December 10 & 12, join Netflix for complimentary popcorn and hot cocoa at our family movie screenings at The Bay Theater in Los Angeles and The Paris Theater in New York to see Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Everyone’s favorite holiday pastime, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, will feature an incredible float based on the all-new movie Slumberland, starring Jason Momoa. Tune in to see Slumberland’s many fantastical elements of Nemo’s fun-filled adventures, including a bed that comes alive, and then click over to Netflix to watch this amazing adventure the whole family can enjoy. And don’t miss the Ada Twist, Scientist balloon flying high once again at this year’s parade.
